In August of 2015 there were 18 homes that closed within the month for Brigham City UT Real Estate. This was a decrease in sales, as there were 29 homes that closed in August of 2014.

 

The median list price for the homes that closed in August of 2014 was $129,900.

The median list price for the homes that closed in August of 2015 was $169,400.

 

The median sale price for the homes that closed in August of 2014 was $126,500.

The median sale price for the homes that closed in August of 2015 was $165,000.

 

The median market time for homes that closed in August of 2014 was 37 days.

The median market time for homes that closed in August of 2015 was 59 days.

 

Homes Under Contract For August 2015

 

There were 22 homes that went under contract with buyers in the month of August. The average list price of the homes that went under contract was $139,738. The average time on the market for these homes were 65 days.

 

January 2012 - 2014 Final Year Real Estate Market Statistics for Brigham City Utah

 

For the period of January to December of 2014 there were 225 properties sold.

For the period of January to December of 2013 there were 227 properties sold.

For the period of January to December of 2012 there were 187 properties sold.

 

For the period of January to December of 2014 the median list price was $151,296; the median sale price was $145,400; and the median market time was 45 days.

For the period of January to December of 2013 the median list price was $151,100; the median sale price was $144,777; and the median market time was 55 days.

For the period of January to December 2012 the median list price was $139,658; the median sale price was $131,017; and the median market time was 64 days.

 

Current Homes for Sale Inventory Levels

 

As of September 13, 2015 are currently 69 homes on the market in Brigham City UT. The average list price of these homes is $196,774. The lowest list price is $75,000 and the highest list price is $895,000 with an average of 94 days on the market.

 

Brigham City UT Real Estate Market Analysis

 

During this August of 2015 there were 18 homes sold. That is over 60% less than last year; which only had 29 sales in August of 2014. 

Home sales will continue at a steady speed. An abundance of homeowners believe that Spring is the time to sell their home. Although, Spring does seem the be the 'busy season', there are always buyers looking to buy a home. Selling in the fall may be a great benefit to sellers as the inventory levels will have ped and there won't be as much competition.

From January 1st through August 31, 2015 there have been 158. At this same point in time last year there were 157 sales. Although sales ped in the month of August over last August, the year-to-date has leveled it out.

 

2014 Sales statistics vs 2013

 

Brigham City ended 2014 with 225 properties sold which was level with 2013 when there were 227 properties sold. (So far 2015 has hit 158 homes sold with only four more months to go.)
