Let the summer begin! July in Utah is full of family fun, 5K runs, kid activities, rodeos, parades, firework displays, and more! This month the United States of American is celebrating Independence Day, also known as the 4th of July. On top of that, Utah celebrates the 24th of July also known as Pioneer Day.

Many of the Box Elder County cities and towns will be celebrating throughout July, where you will be able to take in all the fun. I have gathered up the information I have been able to find on the celebrations taking place this July 2017.

Brigham City

Brigham City will be celebrating the Fourth of July On Tuesday, July 4th at Rees Pioneer Park located at 800 West Forest Street, Brigham City. Here is the schedule for that day.

7:30 am to 10:30 am - Breakfast
All proceeds will benefit the Brigham City Senior Center. They will be serving pancakes with fruit topping, sausage, hashbrowns, and includes your choice of coffee, orange juice, or milk.
The prices for breakfast are:
Adults: $7
12 years and younger $3.50
Seniors (60+) $5

8:45 am to 10:00 am - Interfaith Patriotic Program 
Flag Ceremony and Reader's Theater

10:00 am - Teens T-Ball
Pre-register team at the Recreation Office, $5.00 per player which includes T-Shirt. Click here to register.

10:00 am to 8:00 pm - Swimming Pool Open
Special rates apply at $3.00 per person.

11:00 am - Horseshoes
Register at the pit.

8:00 pm to 9:30 pm - The Kap Brothers Band Concert

Corinne's 4th of July Celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 4th at the Corinne City Park from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.

6:30 am - Flag Ceremony at City Hall
7:00 am - 9:00 am - Breakfast at the Park ($5 per person or $20 per family)
9:45 am - Line up for the parade on East side of school
10:00 am - Parade
10:30 am - Pie and Ice Cream at the park
10:30 am - Bingo at the Park
11:00 am - Inflatable toys and games at the Park
11:00 am - Lunch served by the Corinne City Fire Dept at the Park

 

Deweyville

Deweyville will be celebrating Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th beginning at 7:00 am at the Deweyville Park.

7:00 am to 9:00 am - The Mayor's Breakfast
10:00 am - Parade
11:00 am - Annual Candy Drop Over The Park

There will be t-shirts and other memorabilia available for sale. 

 

Elwood

Due to this year's flooding, Elwood's 4th of July Celebration has been canceled for the 2017 year. 

 

Garland

Honeyville

Honeyville will be celebrating 4th of July on July 1st, 3rd, and 4th at Honeyville Park.

The 2017 Suicide Awareness Walk will be hosted by the Northern Box Elder County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Whether you are recovering from a hard time yourself, or are supporting a loved one or the cause itself, come join in on the walk.

The event will be held at Jeanie Stevens Park located at 614 North 1000 West, Tremonton.
